Dr. Ay\u015fe Parlakg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, down sendromunun d\u00fcnyada her 750 ila bin do\u011fumda bir g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc ve bu durumun san\u0131lan\u0131n aksine tedavi edilebilen bir hastal\u0131k de\u011fil, genetik bir farkl\u0131l\u0131k, bir kromozom anomalisi oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n

Down sendromunun fiziksel \u00f6zelliklerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra hafif veya orta derecede zihinsel gerili\u011fe de yol a\u00e7an \u00f6nemli bir sa\u011fl\u0131k sorunu oldu\u011funu belirten Do\u00e7. Dr. Parlakg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, down sendromunda annenin ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir rol oynad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kromozomdaki hatan\u0131n anne ya\u015f\u0131 ilerledik\u00e7e artt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade ederek, \u201cDown sendromuna sebep oldu\u011fu bilinen tek fakt\u00f6r hamilelik ya\u015f\u0131d\u0131r. Do\u011fumda kad\u0131n\u0131n ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n ileri olmas\u0131 down sendromu ve di\u011fer kromozom anormalileri i\u00e7in bireysel riski artt\u0131r\u0131yor. Ancak do\u011fal olarak gen\u00e7 kad\u0131nlar daha fazla bebek sahibi oldu\u011fundan down sendromlu \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczde 80\u2019i gen\u00e7 annelerin bebekleridir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Hamilelikte erken tespit edilebiliyor<\/p>\n

Risk grubundaki annelerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra t\u00fcm anne adaylar\u0131na \u00f6nerilen testler ve tetkikler bulundu\u011funu anlatan Do\u00e7. Dr. Parlakg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, \u201cG\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde down sendromu 11 ila 14. haftalar aras\u0131nda ultrasonografi ve kan testi ile taranabiliyor. E\u011fer ilk taramalarda riskli bir hal ortaya \u00e7\u0131karsa ileri testler \u00f6neriliyor. Hekim, ultrasonografik incelemelerde hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n fiziki bulgular\u0131na rastlarsa ya da ikili, \u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc, d\u00f6rtl\u00fc test gibi tarama testlerine g\u00f6re artm\u0131\u015f risk tespit edildi\u011finde daha ileri testler \u00f6neriliyor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Kad\u0131n Hastal\u0131klar\u0131 ve Do\u011fum Uzman\u0131 Do\u00e7. Dr. Parlakg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, anne aday\u0131n\u0131n ileri ya\u015f, down sendromlu gebelik veya do\u011fum \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fc gibi nedenlerle risk grubunda yer almas\u0131 durumunda ise kan \u00f6rne\u011fi al\u0131narak yap\u0131lan testlerin hamileli\u011fin 10 haftas\u0131ndan itibaren de uygulanabilece\u011fini belirtti.<\/p>\n

E\u011fer down sendromu \u015f\u00fcphesi varsa kan testi, yani giri\u015fimsel olmayan Fetal Trizomi (Fetal DNA) testinin, hamileli\u011fin 10. haftas\u0131ndan itibaren anneden al\u0131nan kanda bebe\u011fe ait DNA par\u00e7ac\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n hekime down sendromu hakk\u0131nda ip ucu verecek bir y\u00fczdeye ula\u015fmas\u0131 sayesinde yap\u0131labildi\u011fini s\u00f6yleyen Do\u00e7. Dr. Parlakg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, \u015funlar\u0131 kaydetti:<\/p>\n

\u201cTestin sonucu yakla\u015f\u0131k 10 ila 14 g\u00fcnde belli oluyor. Bu test, bebekte daha s\u0131k rastlanan kromozom anomalilerine i\u015faret eden Trizomi 21, Trizomi 18 ya da Trizomi 13 olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 di\u011fer standart tarama testlerine oranla hassas bir \u015fekilde (y\u00fczde 99.8) saptama \u015fans\u0131 veriyor. Amniosentez, koryon villus, \u00f6rnekleme gibi testler ise down sendromunu y\u00fczde 100 tespit etmenin tek yolu oluyor. \u00dcstelik bu testlerde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck riski binde 2 ila 5 aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131yor.\u201d
