Tar\u0131m ve Orman Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Do\u011fa Koruma ve Milli Parklar 11. B\u00f6lge M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ekipleri taraf\u0131ndan \u00c7orum\u2019da yap\u0131lan arazi incelemelerinde nesli t\u00fckenme tehlikesinde olan ve d\u00fcnyan\u0131n u\u00e7abilen en a\u011f\u0131r ku\u015flar\u0131ndan biri olan “toy ku\u015fu” g\u00f6zlemlendi.<\/p>\n

Do\u011fa Koruma ve Milli Parklar 11. B\u00f6lge M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019ne ba\u011fl\u0131 \u00c7orum \u0130l \u015eube M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen arazi inceleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda d\u00fcnyan\u0131n u\u00e7abilen en a\u011f\u0131r (5,6-18 Kg) ku\u015flar\u0131ndan biri olan toy ku\u015fu g\u00f6zlemlendi. Toy Ku\u015fu, Uluslararas\u0131 Do\u011fa Koruma Birli\u011fi (IUCN) listesine g\u00f6re soyu t\u00fckenme tehlikesi b\u00fcy\u00fck olan (VU) olan ku\u015flar listesinde yer al\u0131yor. T\u00fcm d\u00fcnyada say\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n sadece 44 bin ile 57 bin aras\u0131nda oldu\u011fu tahmin ediliyor. 2004 y\u0131l\u0131nda T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de Toy pop\u00fclasyonunun 764-bin 250 birey aras\u0131nda oldu\u011fu tahmin ediliyorken (k\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 ve eken, 2004) 2016 y\u0131l\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen envanter \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda 504 birey tespit edildi.<\/p>\n

Bu zamana kadar habitat kayb\u0131, tar\u0131m arazilerinin a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131 ve avlanma gibi \u00e7e\u015fitli nedenlerle say\u0131lar\u0131 azalan toy, b\u00fct\u00fcn d\u00fcnyada yok olma s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131na yakla\u015ft\u0131. Toyun, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de koruma alt\u0131nda olup avlanmas\u0131, arazide yumurta ve yavrular\u0131n\u0131n toplanmas\u0131 yasak.<\/p>\n

Toy; ba\u015f\u0131 ve boynu gri, s\u0131rt\u0131 k\u0131z\u0131l \u00fcst\u00fcne enine siyah \u00e7izgili, alt taraf\u0131 beyazd\u0131r. \u00dcreme d\u00f6neminde erke\u011fin beyaz b\u0131y\u0131klar\u0131 ve k\u0131z\u0131l g\u00f6\u011f\u00fcs ku\u015fa\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar. Erkek bireyin beyaz b\u0131y\u0131klar\u0131 her y\u0131l uzar ve ya\u015fl\u0131 bireylerin b\u0131y\u0131k uzunlu\u011fu 20 cm\u2019yi ge\u00e7er. U\u00e7u\u015fta kanatlar\u0131n\u0131n i\u00e7i beyaz, kenarlar\u0131 ise siyah olan bir ku\u015ftur.
