T\u0131bbi Onkoloji Uzman\u0131 Prof. Dr. B\u00fclent Orhan, kanserini gizleyen, kanser olduktan sonra te\u015fhisi kabul etmeyip doktora gitmekte geciken hastalara dikkat \u00e7ekti.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de kansere yakalananlar\u0131n, korkarak \u00e7evresine s\u00f6ylemedi\u011fi hastal\u0131k asl\u0131nda erken te\u015fhisle tedavi edilebiliyor. Bir \u00e7ok hasta ise hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 korkarak ge\u00e7 s\u00f6yledi\u011fi i\u00e7in bu hastal\u0131k sebebiyle hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybediyor. Bu konuya dikkat \u00e7eken Ac\u0131badem Hastanesinden T\u0131bbi Onkoloji Uzman\u0131 Prof. Dr. Orhan, “Kanser korkusu, kanserin ad\u0131 bile \u00e7ok uzun y\u0131llard\u0131r \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl hastal\u0131kla \u00f6zde\u015fle\u015fmi\u015ftir. \u0130nsanlar bu ismi duyduklar\u0131nda \u00e7ok \u00fcrk\u00fcyorlar. Asl\u0131nda bizim i\u00e7in sadece bir hastal\u0131k ama kalp, \u015feker, tansiyon gibi bir hastal\u0131k. Bu korku insanlar\u0131 maalesef yanl\u0131\u015f \u015feyleri yapamaya y\u00f6nlendiriyor. Kanserini gizleyen, kanser olduktan sonra te\u015fhisi kabul etmeyip doktora gitmekte geciken ve durumu giderek daha k\u00f6t\u00fc olan hastalar\u0131 \u00e7ok g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz” dedi.<\/p>\n

Bu konuda \u00e7ok \u00fcz\u00fcc\u00fc an\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n oldu\u011funa temas eden Prof. Dr. Orhan, “\u00d6zellikle kad\u0131nlarda meme kanserinde bu konu \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. Kanser olduktan sonra veya eline kitle geldikten sonra kitlesini saklay\u0131p \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck yaralar a\u00e7\u0131lana kadar doktora gitmemekte direnen hastalar\u0131n\u0131n oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Orhan s\u00f6zlerine s\u00f6yle devam etti “Y\u0131llard\u0131r bu mesle\u011fi yap\u0131yoruz. 15-20 y\u0131l \u00f6nce bu hastal\u0131k oran\u0131 \u00e7ok fazlayken, art\u0131k kanserini saklayan, korkanlar\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131 giderek azal\u0131yor, ama hala var. Bu sene bile 30 ya\u015f\u0131nda bir meme kanseri gen\u00e7 ve \u00fcniversite mezunu bir bayan t\u00fcm\u00f6r\u00fc 15 santim olduktan sonra doktora ba\u015fvurmaya kendisi ikna olmu\u015f daha do\u011frusu mecbur kalm\u0131\u015f. Bu sene bile g\u00f6rd\u00fck. O y\u00fczden hastalar\u0131n de\u011fil, insanlar\u0131n, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc hasta olmayan insanlar\u0131n da bilin\u00e7lendirilmesi laz\u0131m. Kanser bir hastal\u0131kt\u0131r. Herhangi bir hastal\u0131ktan farkl\u0131 de\u011fildir. Korkmaya gerek yok. Ama m\u00fccadele etmeye gerek var. M\u00fccadele korunmayla, erken fark\u0131ndal\u0131k ve tedaviyle ba\u015flar. Ondan sonras\u0131 doktorlar\u0131n i\u015fi. Doktorlar\u0131m\u0131z onlar\u0131 en iyi \u015fekilde tedavi edecektir”
