28 Kas\u0131m 1898\u2019de M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019\u0131n Kahire \u015fehrinde do\u011fan \u0130hap Hulusi G\u00f6rey, ilk ve orta tahsilini Kahire\u2019nin \u0130ngiliz Okullar\u0131nda yapt\u0131. 1920 y\u0131l\u0131nda resim e\u011fitimi almak \u00fczere Almanya\u2019ya gitti. \u00d6nce M\u00fcnih\u2019te Haimann Schule at\u00f6lyesinde \u00fc\u00e7 y\u0131l \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131, daha sonra Kuntsgewerbe Schule\u2019ye devam ederek tahsilini tamamlay\u0131p yurda d\u00f6nd\u00fc. 1929\u2019da \u0130stanbul\u2019da ilk at\u00f6lyesini kurduktan sonra Kul\u00fcp Rak\u0131s\u0131 etiketi ve Atat\u00fcrk\u2019\u00fcn sipari\u015fi \u00fczerine Alfabe\u2019nin kapa\u011f\u0131n\u0131 tasarlayan \u0130hap Hulusi, Ziraat Bankas\u0131, \u0130\u015f Bankas\u0131, Yap\u0131 Kredi, Garanti, S\u00fcmerbank, Emlak Kredi, T\u00fcrk Ticaret Bankas\u0131, Maliye Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 (tahviller), T\u00fcrk Hava Kurumu, K\u0131z\u0131lay, Ye\u015filay, Tari\u015f, Zirai Donan\u0131m Kurumu ve bir\u00e7ok \u00f6zel kurulu\u015fa \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla hizmet verdi.
