Anadolu\u2019nun Orhun Abideleri olarak da adland\u0131r\u0131lan, \u00fczerindeki yaz\u0131 ve \u015fekillerle her biri sanat eseri niteli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131yan mezar ta\u015flar\u0131n\u0131 b\u00fcnyesinde bar\u0131nd\u0131ran tarihi mezarl\u0131kta kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 Van Y\u00fcz\u00fcnc\u00fc Y\u0131l \u00dcniversitesi (YY\u00dc) Sanat Tarihi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Recai Karahan ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Karahan, Sel\u00e7uklu Meydan Mezarl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019ndaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar hakk\u0131nda gazetecilere yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamada, “2019 y\u0131l\u0131 kaz\u0131, restorasyon ve \u00e7evre d\u00fczenlemesi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na 2 May\u0131s itibariyle ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f bulunuyoruz. \u0130lk etapta ge\u00e7en y\u0131ldan yar\u0131m kalan g\u00fczergah\u0131m\u0131zda liken temizli\u011fiyle ba\u015flad\u0131k. Daha sonra ki d\u00f6nemlerde ise ta\u015f t\u00fcmlemeleri ve akabinde \u00e7evre d\u00fczenlenmesi, otlar\u0131n bi\u00e7imi \u015feklinde yine her seneki gibi ile devam edece\u011fiz. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n sonucu olarak da elde etti\u011fimiz verileri k\u0131\u015f\u0131n arazide \u00e7al\u0131\u015famad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z d\u00f6nemlerde \u00e7izimlerini yaparak ve transkriptlerini yaparak de\u011ferlendirece\u011fiz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

En \u00f6nemli olaylardan bir tanesi say\u0131n Cumhurba\u015fkan\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n Ahlat\u2019ta bir k\u00f6\u015fk yapt\u0131rmas\u0131 ve Malazgirt Zaferi kutlamalar\u0131n\u0131 Ahlat\u2019tan ba\u015flatmas\u0131 \u015feklinde s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. Bir ikincisi Sakin \u015eehir stat\u00fcs\u00fcne girmi\u015f oldu\u011fumuzdan dolay\u0131 buran\u0131n \u00f6nemi gittik\u00e7e artmaktad\u0131r. Biz burada her g\u00fcn hemen hemen 10 tane tur a\u011f\u0131rlamaktay\u0131z. \u015eimdilik Ramazan dolay\u0131s\u0131yla bu kadar. Yaz\u0131n bunlar daha da \u00e7ok artaca\u011fa benziyor. Bu y\u00fczden buras\u0131 \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir merkez haline gelmi\u015ftir.”<\/p>\n

Mezarl\u0131kta \u00f6zellikle \u00f6nceli\u011fi ta\u015f temizli\u011fine verdiklerini belirten Prof. Dr. Karahan, \u201c\u015eimdiye kadar bin civar\u0131nda ta\u015f temizlendi. Bizim hedefimiz bu y\u0131l bilhassa kuzey y\u00f6n\u00fcne do\u011fru giden g\u00fcney-kuzey y\u00f6n\u00fcndeki travers yolun iki taraf\u0131ndaki en az\u0131ndan 5\u2019er, 10\u2019ar ta\u015f\u0131 temizleyerek gitmektir. E\u011fer imkanlar\u0131m\u0131z el verirse ki Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z bize olduk\u00e7a destek veriyor. Kendilerine te\u015fekk\u00fcr ediyoruz. \u00c7ok \u00e7ok da\u011f\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f, k\u0131r\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f olan 50\u2019ye yak\u0131n ta\u015f var. Onlar \u015fimdilik tespit etti\u011fimiz, yer alt\u0131nda tespit edeceklerimiz de var.
