Ceyhan\u2019\u0131n do\u011fusunda, Osmaniye s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131nda yer alan Tatarl\u0131 H\u00f6y\u00fck\u2019teki kaz\u0131larda Neolitik d\u00f6nemden Ge\u00e7 Helenistik d\u00f6neme kadarki yerle\u015fimler g\u00fcn \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/p>\n
\u00c7ukurova \u00dcniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fak\u00fcltesi Arkeoloji B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden Kaz\u0131 Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Do\u00e7. Dr. K. Serdar Girginer, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n Adana\u2019n\u0131n tan\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 i\u00e7in son derece \u00f6nemli oldu\u011funa dikkati \u00e7ekerek, “Hititler d\u00f6neminde \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u015fehir ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131ld\u0131. Tap\u0131naklar\u0131, ta\u015f d\u00f6\u015femeli ve rampal\u0131 kutsal t\u00f6ren yolu, \u015fehre giri\u015f yolunun kulesiyle kent surlar\u0131 ve seramik pi\u015firme f\u0131r\u0131nlar\u0131 ile son derece geli\u015fkin yerle\u015fimin Orta Anadolu Hitit kentleriyle olan ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 sunan \u00f6nemli bilgilere ula\u015f\u0131ld\u0131. G\u00f6zlemlerimize g\u00f6re bu \u00e7a\u011fda kentin en az 2-3 kilometrelik bir alana yay\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Kentin Hitit \u00c7a\u011f\u0131\u2019ndaki isminin Lawazantiya oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcyor” dedi.<\/p>\n

H\u00f6y\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn \u00fcst tabakalar\u0131nda yapt\u0131klar\u0131 kaz\u0131larda ise Helenistik d\u00f6nemde son derece faal bir yerle\u015fimle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayan Do\u00e7.
