D\u00fcnyan\u0131n her yerinde her kesim insanda g\u00f6r\u00fclebilen ALS (Amyotrofik lateral skleroz) hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 belirtilerinin her hastada farkl\u0131l\u0131k g\u00f6sterdi\u011finin bildiren N\u00f6roloji Uzman\u0131 Dr. Song\u00fcl Turgut, ALS hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n genel belirtilerinin bir kol ya da bacakta g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fczl\u00fck ya da incelme, konu\u015fma ve yutmada g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fczl\u00fck, kaslarda seyirme, a\u011fr\u0131 ve kramplar, kontrol edilemeyen a\u011flama ve g\u00fclme oldu\u011funu belirtti.<\/p>\n
D\u00fcnya 21 Haziran ALS G\u00fcn\u00fc nedeniyle bir a\u00e7\u0131klama yapan Medicana International Ankara Hastanesi N\u00f6roloji Uzman\u0131 Dr. Song\u00fcl Turgut, bu hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n ilk kez 1869 y\u0131l\u0131nda Frans\u0131z n\u00f6rolog Jean Martin Charcot taraf\u0131ndan tan\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n ayn\u0131 zamanda motor n\u00f6ron hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 olarak da bilinen, merkezi sinir sisteminde, omurilik ve beyin sap\u0131nda motor sinir h\u00fccrelerinin kayb\u0131ndan ileri gelen bir hastal\u0131kt\u0131r t\u00fcr\u00fc oldu\u011funu bildirdi. ALS hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fcnyan\u0131n her yerinde her kesim insanda g\u00f6r\u00fclebilece\u011fini vurgulayan Dr. Turgut, \u201cALS hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 erkeklerde daha s\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclmekte, ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n ise 55 oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Ancak daha gen\u00e7 ya\u015fta da g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir. Bu hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fclme s\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak y\u00fczde 2-6 aral\u0131\u011f\u0131ndad\u0131r. Hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n y\u00fczde 10 kal\u0131tsal oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenebilir. Hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n seyrinde g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fczl\u00fck zaman i\u00e7inde ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcmden di\u011fer uzuvlara (kol, bacak, dil ve yutak kaslar\u0131na) yay\u0131larak ilerlemektedir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
Bu hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n t\u00fcm v\u00fccutta yay\u0131larak kaslarda erime, g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fczl\u00fck ve seyirme nedeniyle g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015fam aktivitelerini k\u0131s\u0131tlayabilece\u011finin alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izen Dr. Turgut, \u201cHastalar tek ba\u015f\u0131na i\u015f g\u00f6remez, yemek yiyemez, y\u00fcr\u00fcyemez olabilirler. Hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n kritik d\u00f6nemi ise solunum kaslar\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fczle\u015fti\u011fi d\u00f6nemdir. Solunum ve beslenme yetersizli\u011fi ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda hastan\u0131n h\u0131zl\u0131 ve yak\u0131n t\u0131bbi takibe ihtiyac\u0131 vard\u0131r. Hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131ndan beri hayatta kalma s\u00fcresi 4-6 y\u0131ld\u0131r. 10 y\u0131l ve daha uzun ya\u015fayan hastalarda vard\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca 20 y\u0131l ya\u015fayan hastalar oldu\u011fu gibi ilerlemesi duran \u015fikayetleri ge\u00e7en hastalarda bildirilmi\u015ftir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
