Sivas\u2019\u0131n Do\u011fan\u015far il\u00e7esi yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz y\u0131llarda meydana gelen erozyon D\u00fcnya tarihine ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin co\u011frafi olu\u015fumunun nas\u0131l ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti\u011fine \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutacak fosilleri ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131. Karadeniz ve Akdeniz\u2019e yakla\u015f\u0131k 400 kilometre uzakl\u0131kta, bin 350 rak\u0131ml\u0131 b\u00f6lgede denizlerde ya\u015fayan canl\u0131lara ait fosiller bulundu. Yakla\u015f\u0131k 15 milyon y\u0131ll\u0131k oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen fosillerden yola \u00e7\u0131karak ge\u00e7mi\u015fte Sivas\u2019\u0131n okyanusun taban\u0131nda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n

Konuyla ilgili ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar y\u00fcr\u00fcten Tarih \u00d6\u011fretmeni, Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131-Yazar Fikri Karaman, deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131na ait fosillerin, yakla\u015f\u0131k 15 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nce b\u00f6lgede deniz oldu\u011funun kan\u0131t\u0131 oldu\u011funu belirtip, \u201cBulundu\u011fumuz alanda binlerce deniz canl\u0131s\u0131 fosilleri bulunmaktad\u0131r. Bu b\u00f6lgenin bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar ve gelecek nesillere ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan koruma alt\u0131na al\u0131nmas\u0131 gerekir. Bu fosillerden yakla\u015f\u0131k 15 milyon y\u0131l \u00f6nce bu b\u00f6lgenin deniz taban\u0131nda oldu\u011funu anl\u0131yoruz. Akdeniz ve Karadeniz\u2019e uzakl\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z ise yakla\u015f\u0131k 350-400 kilometredir.
