Ba\u011flant\u0131 hatt\u0131ndaki Dungun t\u00fcnelinin a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131yla \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n yeniden ba\u015flat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 t\u00f6reninde konu\u015fan Malezya Ula\u015ft\u0131rma Bakan\u0131 Anthony Loke Siew Fook, “Projenin sosyal ve ekonomik olarak halk\u0131n refah\u0131na olumlu etkisi olacak. Halen y\u00fczde 15\u2019i bitirilen projenin 2026 y\u0131l\u0131nda tamamlanmas\u0131yla do\u011fu k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda daha \u00e7ok geli\u015fme ve sanayile\u015fme g\u00f6rece\u011fiz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
Malezya yar\u0131madas\u0131n\u0131n bat\u0131 k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 do\u011fu k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131na ba\u011flayacak olan 640 kilometre uzunlu\u011funda, 10 milyar 688 milyon dolarl\u0131k demiryolu ba\u011flant\u0131 projesinin m\u00fcteahhitlerinin ilk bir ay i\u00e7inde \u00f6nceli\u011fi t\u00fcnel ve viyad\u00fcklere verece\u011fi kaydedildi. Kelanton b\u00f6lgesindeki Kota Baru ile Dungun \u015fehrini birbirine ba\u011flayacak demiryolu hatt\u0131nda 20 istasyon bulunacak. Projede, en uzunu 7 kilometre olmak \u00fczere 40 t\u00fcnel ve toplam 100 kilometre uzunlu\u011funda \u00e7ok say\u0131da viyad\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn oldu\u011fu belirtildi. Karayolu ile 8 saatte kat edilen bu mesafe saatte 160 kilometre h\u0131zla giden trenle 4 saatte gidilebilecek. Eski projede 4 eyaletten ge\u00e7en demiryolunun yeni projede 5 eyaletten ge\u00e7ece\u011fi kaydedildi.
