EEEV enfeksiyonu semptomlar\u0131n ba\u015flamas\u0131ndan sadece 2 g\u00fcn sonra ba\u015f a\u011fr\u0131lar\u0131, kas\u0131lmalar ve \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc tetikleyen beyin \u015fi\u015fmesine neden olabilir. Hastal\u0131k beyin \u015fi\u015fmesinden kurtulanlarda n\u00f6rotik bozukluklar b\u0131rakabilir.
