Kayseri B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi\u2019nin deste\u011fiyle Yamula Baraj\u0131 k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclen kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda d\u00fcnyada ilk kez tek par\u00e7a halinde bozulmam\u0131\u015f bir fil t\u00fcr\u00fc olan \u2019Choerolophodon\u2019 cinsine ait fosil bulundu. Arkeolog Prof. Dr. Ok\u015fan Ba\u015fo\u011flu, d\u00fcnya \u00fczerinde b\u00fct\u00fcn olarak korunmu\u015f tek \u00f6rnek oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyerek, “\u00c7ok \u00f6nemli bir ke\u015fif” dedi.<\/p>\n

Bilim insanlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fcnyada ilk kez tek par\u00e7a halinde bozulmam\u0131\u015f halde bulunan \u2018Choerolophodon\u2019 cinsine ait fosili bulundu. Fosilin bulundu\u011fu b\u00f6lgede Kayseri B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Memduh B\u00fcy\u00fckk\u0131l\u0131\u00e7, arkeologlar ve uzman ekipler inceleme yapt\u0131. \u00c7ok \u00f6nemli bir ke\u015fif oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Nev\u015fehir Hac\u0131 Bayram Veli \u00dcniversitesi Arkeoloji B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc\u2019nden Prof. Dr. Ok\u015fan Ba\u015fo\u011flu, “Burada B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi\u2019nin deste\u011fiyle bir kurtarma kaz\u0131s\u0131 yap\u0131yoruz. \u0130ki sezondur \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz. \u00d6ncelikle mamut de\u011fil onu a\u00e7\u0131klayay\u0131m. \u2019Choerolophodon\u2019 t\u00fcr\u00fcne bir \u00f6rnek. Niye \u00f6nemli? Bu kadar g\u00fczel, b\u00fct\u00fcn olarak korunmu\u015f d\u00fcnyadaki tek \u00f6rnek. O y\u00fczden \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir ke\u015fif. \u00d6zellikle Anadolu\u2019nun do\u011fa tarihi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir ke\u015fif. Sadece burada hortumlu memeli yok; gergedanlar, z\u00fcrafalar bak\u0131m\u0131ndan zengin bir b\u00f6lge. Ekibimizdeki jeologlar ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131, 7 bu\u00e7uk milyon ya\u015f\u0131nda” dedi.<\/p>\n
Kayseri B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Memduh B\u00fcy\u00fckk\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 ise tarihe \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutmaya devam edeceklerini kaydederek, “7 milyon 500 bin y\u0131l ge\u00e7mi\u015fe dayanan, bir bak\u0131ma d\u00fcnyada e\u015fi benzeri olmayan, b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc bozmam\u0131\u015f olan fillerin atas\u0131 olarak nitelendirdi\u011fimiz, yakla\u015f\u0131k kafa b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve di\u015fleriyle 3 bu\u00e7uk metrelik, yakla\u015f\u0131k 2 tane insan boyu mesafeyi kast eden bir yap\u0131. Bundan s\u00fcr\u00fcler halinde zaman\u0131nda ya\u015fam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kayseri\u2019nin toprak yap\u0131s\u0131, tarihi dokusu, jeolojik yap\u0131s\u0131 yeniden g\u00f6zden ge\u00e7irilecek konuma geliyor. \u00c7ocuklu\u011fumuzda hep Kayseri\u2019nin alt\u0131nda deniz olan bir \u015fehir olarak dinledik. \u00d6\u011frencilik y\u0131llar\u0131m\u0131zda da bir in\u015faat ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman 3-5 metreden sular\u0131n \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7ok iyi hat\u0131rl\u0131yoruz. B\u00f6yle bir co\u011frafya \u00fczerinde oturuyoruz, yeniden g\u00f6zden ge\u00e7irilmesi kanaatindeyiz.
