Yerel bas\u0131na konu\u015fan B\u00f6lge Komisyon \u00dcyesi Raja Qaiser, deprem sonucu en az 19 ki\u015finin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011fini, 300 ki\u015finin de yaraland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131. Sars\u0131nt\u0131n\u0131n, \u0130slamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Murree, Jhelum, Charsadda, Swat, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Nowshera, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar ve Kohistan\u2019da hissedildi\u011fi bildirildi. Gelen ilk bilgilere g\u00f6re yaral\u0131 ve \u00f6l\u00fc say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n artmas\u0131ndan korkuldu\u011fu, yollar\u0131n da zarar g\u00f6rmesi nedeniyle yard\u0131m\u0131n gecikebilece\u011fi belirtildi.<\/p>\n
Ulusal Afet Y\u00f6netim Otoritesi (NDMA) ve \u0130l Afet Y\u00f6netim Otoritesi (PDMA) ise kurtarma operasyonlar\u0131n\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmesi ve depremin neden oldu\u011fu y\u0131k\u0131m hakk\u0131nda bilgi toplanmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara ba\u015flad\u0131. NDMA\u2019dan yap\u0131lan a\u00e7\u0131klamada 24 saat i\u00e7inde art\u00e7\u0131 sars\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131nda da beklendi\u011fi kaydedildi. Pakistan Ordusunun Bas\u0131n Birimi (ISPR) de depremden etkilenen insanlara yard\u0131m etmek i\u00e7in ordunun yard\u0131m faaliyetlerinin ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bildirdi. ISPR\u2019den yap\u0131lan a\u00e7\u0131klamada, “Genelkurmay Ba\u015fkan\u0131, b\u00f6lgedeki deprem ma\u011fdurlar\u0131 i\u00e7in sivil idareye yard\u0131mda bulunmas\u0131 amac\u0131 ile acil kurtarma birliklerini seferber etti.
