2018 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lan ilk \u015fampiyonan\u0131n ard\u0131ndan, bu y\u0131l ikincisi Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 himayesinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen dev organizasyon, 2020 y\u0131l\u0131nda yine Afyonkarahisar\u2019\u0131n ev sahipli\u011finde ve yine Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 himayesinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecek. Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0130nternet Sitesi\u2019nde \u201cCumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Himayelerinde Yer Alan Projeler\u201d aras\u0131na D\u00fcnya Motokros \u015eampiyonas\u0131 (MXGP of Turkey) 2020 yar\u0131\u015flar\u0131 da dahil edilirken, \u015fampiyona ile ilgili \u015fu ifadelere yer verildi:<\/p>\n
\u201cCumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 himayelerinde T\u00fcrkiye Motosiklet Federasyonu taraf\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmesi planlanan D\u00fcnya Motokros \u015eampiyonas\u0131 (MXGP of Turkey) ile \u00fclkemizin motor sporlar\u0131 ve spor turizmi alan\u0131nda uluslararas\u0131 d\u00fczeyde tan\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 artt\u0131rmak, \u00fclkemizdeki spor turizmini \u00e7e\u015fitlendirmek ve y\u0131l\u0131n tamam\u0131na yaymak hedeflenmektedir. Motor sporlar\u0131 aras\u0131nda \u00f6nemli yere sahip olan D\u00fcnya Motokros \u015eampiyonas\u0131 20. Etab\u0131, 5-6 Eyl\u00fcl 2020 tarihleri aras\u0131nda Afyonkarahisar\u2019da ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecektir.\u201d<\/p>\n
2020 D\u00fcnya Motokros \u015eampiyonas\u0131\u2019n\u0131n da Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 himayelerine al\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131n Afyonkarahisar i\u00e7in gurur verici bir geli\u015fme oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Mehmet Zeybek, Cumhurba\u015fkan\u0131 Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan\u2019a \u015f\u00fckranlar\u0131n\u0131 sunarak, \u015fampiyonan\u0131n Afyon ve \u00fclkemizin tan\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 ad\u0131na bulunmaz bir f\u0131rsat oldu\u011funa kaydetti.
