Erta\u015f\u2019\u0131n Ba\u011fba\u015f\u0131 Mahallesinde bulunan mezar\u0131na giderek dua eden Birol Erta\u015f, \u201cK\u0131r\u015fehir\u2019in UNESCO m\u00fczik a\u011f\u0131na girmesi b\u00fcy\u00fck mutluluk duyduk. Onun sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda bu UNESCO m\u00fczik a\u011f\u0131na girilmesini \u00e7ok isterdim. Ne\u015fet Erta\u015f\u2019la birlikte babas\u0131 Muharrem Erta\u015f\u2019\u0131n da bu g\u00fcnleri g\u00f6rmesini \u00e7ok isterdim. K\u0131r\u015fehir Belediyesine verdi\u011fi desteklerden dolay\u0131 te\u015fekk\u00fcr ederim. Bizler bu k\u00fclt\u00fcrle yeti\u015ftik. Bizden sonra ki ku\u015fa\u011f\u0131nda bu k\u00fclt\u00fcrle yeti\u015fmesi i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz. UNESCO\u2019nun bizden sonraki nesillere daha faydal\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum\u201ddedi.<\/p>\n

K\u0131r\u015fehir Kent Konseyi Genel Sekreteri Tolga Akp\u0131nar, a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131nda; \u201cGe\u00e7ti\u011fimiz Haziran ay\u0131 sonunda K\u0131r\u015fehir\u2019in UNESCO m\u00fczik \u015fehri olmas\u0131 i\u00e7in ba\u015fvurumuzu yapm\u0131\u015ft\u0131k. Ba\u015fvuru K\u0131r\u015fehir Belediyesi taraf\u0131ndan yap\u0131ld\u0131. Kent Konseyi, Ahiler Kalk\u0131nma Ajans\u0131, K\u0131r\u015fehir Valili\u011fi ve di\u011fer payda\u015flarla destek olduk. Ba\u015fvuru UNESCO merkezi Paris\u2019te yap\u0131lan toplant\u0131da kabul edildi. Kent Konseyi olarak bundan sonra da K\u0131r\u015fehir Belediyesne destek sunaca\u011f\u0131z.
