\u0130stanbul Cerrahi Hastanesi G\u00f6z Hastal\u0131klar\u0131 ve Cerrahisi B\u00f6l\u00fcm Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Prof. Dr. Levent Alimgil, katarakt ameliyat\u0131 olduktan sonra yak\u0131n g\u00f6zl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc kullanmaya ba\u015flayanlar\u0131n, yak\u0131n g\u00f6zl\u00fcklerinden de kurtulmalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayacak ak\u0131ll\u0131 lens uygulamas\u0131 hakk\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131klamalarda bulundu. Prof. Dr. Alimgil, ak\u0131ll\u0131 lensin katarakt ameliyatlar\u0131ndan sonra hastan\u0131n iyi g\u00f6rebilmesi i\u00e7in, g\u00f6z i\u00e7ine bir mercek yerle\u015ftirme i\u015flemi oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyerek, “Standart mercekler hastan\u0131n sadece ya uza\u011f\u0131 ya da yak\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6rmesini sa\u011fl\u0131yor. Ak\u0131ll\u0131 mercekler ise hastan\u0131n t\u00fcm mesafeleri g\u00f6rmesini sa\u011fl\u0131yor.
