Meydan Yeri Caddesinde bir i\u015f yeri in\u015faat\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda Hicri 1328 (miladi 1910) y\u0131l\u0131na ait oldu\u011fu tespit edilen Osmanl\u0131 D\u00f6nemine ait 109 y\u0131ll\u0131k kitabe bulundu. Duvarda bulunan kitabeyi fark eden vatanda\u015flar durumu m\u00fcze yetkililerine bildirdi. Kitabenin bulundu\u011fu alana gelen Yozgat M\u00fcze M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc yetkilileri kitabenin yerinden s\u00f6k\u00fclmesi i\u00e7in Yozgat Valili\u011finden izin alarak titiz bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi. S\u00f6k\u00fclen kitabe, muhafaza edilmek \u00fczere yetkililer taraf\u0131ndan Yozgat M\u00fcze M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n
Yozgat M\u00fcze M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde incelemeye al\u0131nan kitabenin Osmanl\u0131 D\u00f6nemine ait oldu\u011fu ve kitabenin \u00fczerinde Hicri 1328 tarihinin yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 tespit edildi. \u0130ncelemeler sonras\u0131 kitabenin bir \u00e7e\u015fmenin veya bir mezar ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131n yar\u0131m ta\u015f\u0131 oldu\u011fu ve ta\u015f\u0131ma, dev\u015firme yolu ile binaya kondu\u011fu belirlendi.<\/p>\n
Yozgat M\u00fcze M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 sonras\u0131 okutulan kitabede \u201c\u0130\u015fbu cahil-i bed-ayine oldu cihan vesile-i delil. \u015eafi olsun fahr-i alem olmas\u0131n asla sefil. Ruz-i mah\u015fer ceraimini ihsan ede Rabb-i Celil. Sene bin \u00fc\u00e7 y\u00fcz otuzdur hitam tarihi. Her bir m\u00fclk\u00fcn sahibi Hak, bel\u00e2dan h\u0131fz ede.
