\u00c7orlu Belediyesi taraf\u0131ndan yap\u0131lan adayl\u0131k ba\u015fvurusunun ard\u0131ndan 21-22 Kas\u0131m 2019 tarihlerinde \u00c7orlu\u2019ya gelen Avrupa Spor Kentleri Federasyonu (ACES Europe) heyetinin verdikleri olumlu rapor do\u011frultusunda \u00c7orlu\u2019nun 2020 Avrupa Spor Kenti ilan edilmesiyle birlikte Br\u00fcksel\u2019e davet edilen \u00c7orlu Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Ahmet Sar\u0131kurt beraberinde \u00c7orlu Belediye Ba\u015fkan Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 G\u00fcner \u00c7etin ve Meclis \u00dcyesi C\u00fcneyt Erg\u00fcn ile birlikte Avrupa Parlamentosu\u2019nda d\u00fczenlenen \u00f6d\u00fcl t\u00f6renine kat\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n

2020 Avrupa Spor Kenti \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc ACES Europe Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Gian Francesco Lupattelli\u2019nin elinden alan \u00c7orlu Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Ahmet Sar\u0131kurt t\u00f6rende yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fmas\u0131nda, \u201c\u00d6ncelikle Avrupa Spor Kentleri Federasyonu (ACES Europe) yetkililerine te\u015fekk\u00fcr ediyorum. Bug\u00fcn d\u00fcnyan\u0131n fakl\u0131 \u015fehirlerini evrensel spor alan\u0131nda bir araya getirdiniz. \u00c7orlu\u2019muz Trakya\u2019n\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck \u015fehirlerinden biri olarak sporda katk\u0131 sunmak \u00fczere var olmaya devam edecek. \u00dcmit ediyorum ki, farkl\u0131 \u015fehirlerdeki insanlar\u0131 bulu\u015fturan bu etkinlikler de bir arada olmaya devam edece\u011fiz\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
Ba\u015fkan Sar\u0131kurt konu\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmede \u00f6d\u00fcle lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclmekten ve \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc alm\u0131\u015f olmaktan dolay\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck mutluluk duydu\u011funu belirterek, “Sporda \u00f6nc\u00fc belediye olmak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyoruz. Avrupa Spor Kentleri Federasyonu\u2019nun (ACES Europe) \u00c7orlu\u2019muzu 2020 Avrupa Spor Kenti ilan etmesinin ard\u0131ndan \u015fehrimizin marka de\u011feri olduk\u00e7a y\u00fckseldi. \u00c7orlu\u2019muzun marka de\u011ferini her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn y\u00fckseltiyor olman\u0131n mutlulu\u011fu ya\u015f\u0131yoruz. Haz\u0131rlayaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z projelerle \u00c7orlu\u2019muza de\u011fer katacak ve \u00f6rnek bir spor kenti olarak hakl\u0131 bir gurur ya\u015fayaca\u011f\u0131z. \u00d6te yandan \u00f6d\u00fcl t\u00f6renimizde bizleri yaln\u0131z b\u0131rakmayan Avrupa Parlamentosu Hak ve \u00d6zg\u00fcrl\u00fckler Hareketi Milletvekili \u0130lhan K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, Avrupa Sosyalistler Partisi Y\u00f6netim Kurulu \u00dcyesi Kader Sevin\u00e7, ACES Europe Balkanlardan Sorumlu Y\u00f6netim Kurulu \u00dcyesi Anatoliy Iliev\u2019e de ayr\u0131ca te\u015fekk\u00fcr ederim.
