D\u00fcnyadaki k\u0131talar\u0131n en derin noktas\u0131, Antarktika\u2019n\u0131n do\u011fusunda yer alan Denman buzulunun alt\u0131nda ke\u015ffedildi. Radar ve uydu g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri kullan\u0131larak ke\u015ffedilen buz dolu kanyonun, deniz seviyesinden 3.5 kilometre derinde yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtildi. Ke\u015ffedilen kanyonun ard\u0131ndan California Irvine \u00dcniversitesinden ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar, beyaz k\u0131ta Antarktika\u2019n\u0131n daha \u00f6nce g\u00f6r\u00fclmemi\u015f ayr\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131yla yeni bir harita ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131. Buz dolu kanyonun 20 kilometre geni\u015fli\u011finde, 100 kilometre uzunlu\u011funda oldu\u011fu tespit edildi. BedMachine Antarctica ad\u0131 verilen haritayla ilgili ayr\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131n Nature Geoscience dergisinde yay\u0131nlanaca\u011f\u0131 kaydedildi.
