Yenilenen Fadumo Bihi \u0130lk\u00f6\u011fretim Okulunun a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f t\u00f6renine T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin Hargeysa Ba\u015fkonsolosu Ali Noyan Co\u015fkun, T\u0130KA Mogadi\u015fu Program Koordinat\u00f6r\u00fc Galip Y\u0131lmaz, Somaliland E\u011fitim ve Bilim Bakan\u0131 Ahmed Mohamed Diriye ile beraberindeki heyet, \u0130HH Ba\u015fkan Yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 \u00d6zg\u00fcr Niyazi Y\u00fcce, Fadumo Bihi Okulu y\u00f6netici ve \u00f6\u011frencileri kat\u0131ld\u0131. T\u0130KA Mogadi\u015fu Program Koordinat\u00f6r\u00fc Y\u0131lmaz, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fmada T\u0130KA\u2019n\u0131n Somaliland\u2019da 2011 y\u0131l\u0131ndan bu yana karde\u015f Somaliland halk\u0131na proje \u00fcretmeye, onlar\u0131n her zaman yan\u0131nda olmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etti. Y\u0131lmaz, \u201cBug\u00fcne kadar Somaliland\u2019\u0131n farkl\u0131 \u015fehirlerinde ve farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerinde bir\u00e7ok projeyi hayata ge\u00e7irdik. Bug\u00fcn de Hargeysa\u2019n\u0131n bu g\u00fczel okullar\u0131ndan bir tanesinde sizlere katk\u0131 sunmak, sizlerin e\u011fitimine bir nebze olsun yard\u0131mc\u0131 olabilmek bizleri fazlas\u0131yla mutlu ediyor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
Fadumo Bihi ise, ad\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yan okulun yenilenmesinden \u00e7ok memnun oldu\u011funu ve duyguland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyerek, T\u0130KA ve T\u00fcrk halk\u0131na te\u015fekk\u00fcr etti.<\/p>\n
Somaliland Bilim ve E\u011fitim Bakan\u0131 Ahmed Mohamed Diriye de, T\u00fcrkiye ve Somaliland aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkilerin Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6neminde ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etti. Diriye, \u201cBerbera \u015fehrinin su ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131layan kuyular ve 40 kilometre civar\u0131ndaki su \u015febekesi bundan 500 y\u0131l kadar \u00f6nce Osmanl\u0131 \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu taraf\u0131ndan in\u015fa edildi ve hala Berbera halk\u0131 bu suyu kullan\u0131yor\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Okula ismini veren Fadumo Bihi, okul in\u015fa edilmeden \u00f6nce b\u00f6lgede bo\u015f bir arazide 1988 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki Somali i\u00e7 sava\u015f\u0131ndan kalan may\u0131nla oynarken ayaklar\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti. Bihi, tedavi g\u00f6r\u00fcrken ayaklar\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011fi yerde okul yap\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 istedi. 1996 y\u0131l\u0131nda Fadumo\u2019nun ayaklar\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011fi yerde bir ilk\u00f6\u011fretim okulu in\u015fa edildi.
