\u0130skenderun Teknik \u00dcniversitesi (\u0130STE) Deniz Bilimleri ve Teknolojisi Fak\u00fcltesi Deniz Bilimleri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Cemal Turan, balon bal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye ekonomisine katk\u0131 sunaca\u011f\u0131 bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma imza att\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Cemal Turan, doktora \u00f6\u011frencisi Servet Ahmet Do\u011fdu, T\u00fcrk ve d\u00fcnya denizlerinde ekonomik de\u011feri olmayan ve deniz canl\u0131lar\u0131 i\u00e7in de tehlike sinyalleri veren balon bal\u0131klar\u0131 \u00fczerine ara\u015ft\u0131rma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ba\u015flatt\u0131. Prof. Dr. Turan, balon bal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye denizlerinde yayg\u0131n olarak bulundu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n
T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de 8-9 t\u00fcr\u00fc bulunan balon bal\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n bir \u015fekilde ekonomiye kazand\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fine dikkat \u00e7eken Prof. Dr. Turan, “Ekosistemde olumsuz etkisini ortadan kald\u0131rmam\u0131z gerekiyor. Bu ama\u00e7la doktora \u00f6\u011frencim Servet Ahmet Do\u011fdu\u2019nun tez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131nda, \u00fclkemiz sular\u0131na lesepsiyen t\u00fcr olarak gelen, ekonomik katk\u0131s\u0131 olmayan balon bal\u0131klar\u0131 gibi t\u00fcrlerin ekonomiye kazand\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 ama\u00e7lad\u0131k. Bu kapsamda \u2019Deniz Canl\u0131lar\u0131ndan Elde Edilen Yap\u0131lar\u0131n Biyomateryal Dlarak Biyomedikal Alan\u0131nda Kullan\u0131m\u0131\u2019 ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 tez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 olu\u015fturuldu. Rekt\u00f6r\u00fcm\u00fcz Prof. Dr. T\u00fcrkay Dereli\u2019nin deste\u011fi ile projemiz ge\u00e7ti. Bu tez \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131, \u0130skenderun Teknik \u00dcniversitesi Bilimsel Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Projeleri Koordinasyon Birimi taraf\u0131ndan 2019LTB-01 proje numaras\u0131 ile desteklenmektedir” dedi.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Turan, siyan\u00fcrden 1200 kat daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc olan tetrodotoksin bar\u0131nd\u0131ran balon bal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n en tehlikeli t\u00fcr\u00fc \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ile ilgili \u015fu bilgileri verdi:<\/p>\n
“Proje kapsam\u0131nda balon bal\u0131klar\u0131ndan jelatin ve kolajen elde ettik. Yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z analizler sonras\u0131nda elde edilen jelatin ve kolajende tetrodotoksin tespit edilmedi. Yani kullan\u0131m\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir \u00fcr\u00fcn elde etmi\u015f olduk. Bu T\u00fcrkiye ekonomisi i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli. Avrupa\u2019da ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ilk kez yap\u0131lan bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma. Jelatin ve kolajenin insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, eczac\u0131l\u0131kta bir\u00e7ok kullan\u0131m alan\u0131 var. \u0130nsanlar\u0131n eklemlerinde s\u0131v\u0131 eksikli\u011finde kullan\u0131labilir. Yani kozmetik sekt\u00f6r\u00fc, insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131, g\u0131da sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde koruyucu gibi bir\u00e7ok kullan\u0131m alanlar\u0131nda kullan\u0131labilecek.”<\/p>\n
