Cumhurba\u015fkan\u0131 Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan\u2019\u0131n Meclisten ge\u00e7en termik santral d\u00fczenlemesini veto etmesinin ard\u0131ndan termik santrallere filtre tak\u0131lmas\u0131 zorunlulu\u011fu i\u00e7in 1 Ocak 2020\u2019ye kadar tan\u0131nan s\u00fcre doldu. Bu kapsamda Sivas\u2019\u0131n Kangal il\u00e7esinde linyit kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n elektrik \u00fcretiminde de\u011ferlendirilmesi amac\u0131yla kurulan termik santral, filtresiz oldu\u011fu gerek\u00e7esi ile m\u00fch\u00fcrlendi. Sivas\u2019a 86 kilometre, Kangal il\u00e7esine 25 kilometre mesafede olan santralin toplam kurulu g\u00fcc\u00fc 457 MW olarak biliniyor. 486 kadrolu, 154 ta\u015feron i\u015f\u00e7i olmak \u00fczere 640 personelin \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 santralde, ayr\u0131ca iki firmaya ba\u011fl\u0131 toplamda bin 226 ki\u015fi istihdam ediliyor.<\/p>\n
Konuyla ilgili firmadan al\u0131nan bilgiye g\u00f6re, santralin \u00c7evre Kanunu gere\u011fi BGA baca gaz\u0131 ar\u0131tma tesisi yap\u0131m i\u015fini kanuni s\u00fcre olan 2019 y\u0131l\u0131 sonuna yeti\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in 2016 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Ocak ay\u0131nda dan\u0131\u015fman firma ile s\u00f6zle\u015fme imzalayarak ba\u015flatt\u0131\u011f\u0131, ihale s\u00fcre\u00e7lerini y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve 2017 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n sonuna do\u011fru ihalelerin sonu\u00e7land\u0131rma a\u015famas\u0131na getirildi\u011fi kaydedildi. Santralin 3. \u00fcnitesinde BGA setinin mevcut olup, rehabilitasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131ndan sonra aktif hale gelece\u011fi ifade edilen a\u00e7\u0131klamada, 1. ve 2. \u00fcnitelerde k\u00fck\u00fcrt giderim (des\u00fclfirazyon) tesisi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, 3. \u00fcnitenin rehabilitasyon ihtiyac\u0131 sebebiyle \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtildi.
