Bunlar\u0131n s\u00fcnnetlilerde g\u00f6r\u00fclmemesi ya da ender olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi s\u00fcnnetin potansiyel avantajlar\u0131 olarak s\u0131ralanabilir. Cinsel yolla bula\u015fan enfeksiyonlar\u0131n azalt\u0131lmas\u0131 da s\u00fcnnetin potansiyel yararlar\u0131 aras\u0131nda say\u0131labilir. Dr. Alan \u015funlar\u0131 s\u00f6yledi: “Cerrahi d\u00fczeltme gerektiren anomaliler varsa, s\u00fcnnet derisi gerekli olabilece\u011finden s\u00fcnnet yap\u0131lmamal\u0131d\u0131r. Bu anomaliler hipospadias (peygamber s\u00fcnneti), epispadias, penil e\u011frilik vs. \u015feklinde s\u0131ralanabilir. Kas\u0131k f\u0131t\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve yumurtal\u0131k kesesi s\u0131v\u0131s\u0131 olan yeni do\u011fanlarda e\u015f zamanl\u0131 m\u00fcdahale edilmelidir. Kanama bozuklu\u011fu olanlarda s\u00fcnnet yap\u0131lmamal\u0131, e\u011fer yap\u0131lmak isteniyor ise kanama problemi i\u00e7in hemotoloji uzman\u0131n\u0131n uygun g\u00f6rece\u011fi ek medikal \u00f6nlem ve tedaviler e\u015fli\u011finde yap\u0131labilir.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Cem Alan s\u00fcnnet teknikleri ve olu\u015fabilecek komplikasyonlardan da bahsetti ve \u015f\u00f6yle konu\u015ftu: \u201cDorsal slit, shield metodu, \u00f6zel s\u00fcnnet klempleri , slit ve eksizyon, sleeve metodu gibi bir \u00e7ok metod olmakla beraber en \u00e7ok kullan\u0131lan y\u00f6ntem shield metodu ve slit ve eksizyon metodlar\u0131d\u0131r. S\u00fcnnet yap\u0131l\u0131rken kullan\u0131lan enerji kaynaklar\u0131 lazer, elektrokoter ve termokoterdir. Ula\u015f\u0131labilirlik ve maliyet a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan en \u00e7ok kullan\u0131lan elektrokoterdir. S\u00fcnnette en s\u0131k kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131lan komplikasyon kanamad\u0131r. \u0130kinci s\u0131kl\u0131kla olu\u015fabilecek komplikasyon yara yeri enfeksiyonudur. Yaralar, antibiyotikli pomadlarla ve g\u00fcnl\u00fck pansumanlar ile \u00e7o\u011funlukla problemsiz iyile\u015febilmektedir. Meatal darl\u0131k, derinin glansa yap\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131, fimozis, s\u00fcnnet derisinin fazla veya az kesilmesi, peniste kanlanma bozuklu\u011fu cerrahiye ba\u011fl\u0131 olu\u015fabilecek komplikasyonlar aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131r.”<\/p>\n
