Daha \u00e7ok sebze, meyve ve tam tah\u0131ll\u0131 \u00fcr\u00fcnlerle beslenme ise bu kanser t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn geli\u015fme riskini azaltan en \u00f6nemli fakt\u00f6rlerdir. Kal\u0131n barsak kanseri riskini azaltman\u0131n en iyi yolu; d\u00fczenli egzersiz yapmak, k\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 et ve i\u015flenmi\u015f et \u00fcr\u00fcnlerini m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oldu\u011fu kadar az t\u00fcketerek sebze-meyve a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k beslenmek, \u00f6nerilen miktarda s\u00fct ve s\u00fct \u00fcr\u00fcnleri t\u00fcketerek kalsiyum almak, v\u00fccuttaki D vitamini seviyesinin yeterli oldu\u011fundan emin olmak ve a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 alkol t\u00fcketiminden ka\u00e7\u0131nmakt\u0131r. Hareketli bir ya\u015fant\u0131 ve d\u00fczenli egzersiz yapmak, dolayl\u0131 yoldan rahim kanseri riskini etkiler, kad\u0131n\u0131n sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 kiloda kalmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flar ve \u015feker, y\u00fcksek tansiyon gibi bu hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 tetikleyen di\u011fer risk fakt\u00f6rlerini azalt\u0131r. D\u00fczenli egzersiz ile rahim kanserlerinin y\u00fczde 60\u2019\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nlenebildi\u011fi bilinmektedir. G\u00fcnde en az 5 tabak meyve ve sebze t\u00fcketimi sigara i\u00e7en veya i\u00e7meyen herkeste akci\u011fer kanseri riskini azaltmaktad\u0131r. Sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 beslenmek, akci\u011fer kanseri riskini azalt\u0131yor olsa da, sigara \u00f6nemli bir risk unsuru olmaya devam etmektedir. Sigara i\u00e7enlerde y\u00fcksek oranda t\u00fcketilen beta-karoten ve\/veya A vitaminli besin takviyeleri, akci\u011fer kanser riskini art\u0131rmaktad\u0131r.
