16 Ocak tarihinde \u0130stanbul\u2019dan Ere\u011fli Liman\u0131\u2019na gitmekte olan Letonya band\u0131ral\u0131 Fehn Iyra isimli kuru y\u00fck gemisi, gece saat 03.00 s\u0131ralar\u0131nda Babal\u0131 Sahili Dikili mevkisinde f\u0131rt\u0131na sebebiyle s\u00fcr\u00fcklenerek karaya oturdu. Babal\u0131 sahiline yakla\u015f\u0131k 100 metre a\u00e7\u0131kta geminin karaya oturdu\u011fu bilgisini alan K\u0131y\u0131 Emniyeti, Sahil G\u00fcvenlik ve jandarma ekipleri b\u00f6lgeye sevk edildi. Olay\u0131n ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcn b\u00f6lgeye gelen ekipler, gemide bulunan m\u00fcrettebat\u0131n gemiden ayr\u0131lmak istemedi\u011fi bilgisini ald\u0131. Ekipler gemideki m\u00fcrettebat\u0131n yard\u0131m \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 kabul etmemesi \u00fczerine sahilde geni\u015f g\u00fcvenlik \u00f6nlemleri al\u0131rken, bug\u00fcn sabah saatlerinde geminin kurtar\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ba\u015flat\u0131ld\u0131. 14 metre geni\u015fli\u011finde, 89 metre uzunlu\u011fundaki 4 bin 448 ton y\u00fck ta\u015f\u0131ma kapasiteli geminin anla\u015fmal\u0131 oldu\u011fu sigorta \u015firketi taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fcn b\u00f6lgeye g\u00f6nderilen r\u00f6mork\u00f6r, gemiyi halatla oturdu\u011fu yerden kurtarmak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ba\u015flatt\u0131. 2 g\u00fcn s\u00fcren \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n ard\u0131ndan gemi kurtar\u0131labildi. Oturdu\u011fu yerden \u00e7\u0131kart\u0131lan gemi, gerekli incelemelerin yap\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in Kefken sahilindeki demir alan\u0131na \u00e7ekildi. Geminin K\u0131y\u0131 Emniyeti taraf\u0131ndan yap\u0131lan incelemelerin ard\u0131ndan tekrar yoluna devam edece\u011fi \u00f6\u011frenildi.
