Prof. Dr. Yetkin S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc 1969 y\u0131l\u0131nda Antalya\u2019da d\u00fcnyaya geldi. \u0130lk, orta ve lise e\u011fitimini Antalya\u2019da tamamlayan Prof. Dr. S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc, 1992 y\u0131l\u0131nda Akdeniz \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019nden birincilik derecesi ile mezun oldu. Prof. Dr. S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc 1998 y\u0131l\u0131nda Akdeniz \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dal\u0131\u2019ndan ihtisas\u0131n\u0131 ald\u0131. 1999-2000 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Diyarbak\u0131r Asker Hastanesinde Tabip Te\u011fmen olarak askerlik g\u00f6revini yerine getirdikten sonra 3 ay Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Klini\u011fi\u2019nde omurga cerrahisi alan\u0131nda \u2018\u2019Klinik Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131\u2019\u2019 olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Prof. Dr. S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc 2001-2003 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Akdeniz \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dal\u0131\u2019nda \u00f6\u011fretim g\u00f6revlisi olarak g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131. 2002 y\u0131l\u0131nda ABD\u2019de omurga cerrahisi ve \u00e7ocuk ortopedisi konular\u0131nda; Texas Scottish Rite \u00c7ocuk Hastanesi ve John Hopkins \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Ortopedik Cerrahi Anabilim Dal\u0131\u2019nda \u201cg\u00f6zlemci\u201d ve \u201comurga cerrahisinde uluslararas\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fim program\u0131 ziyaret\u00e7isi ve g\u00f6zlemci\u201d\u2019 pozisyonlar\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 2001 y\u0131l\u0131ndan beri Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dal\u0131\u2019nda g\u00f6rev yapan ve 2006 y\u0131l\u0131nda do\u00e7ent unvan\u0131n\u0131 alan Prof. Dr. S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc 2012 y\u0131l\u0131nda profes\u00f6r oldu. Prof. Dr. S\u00f6y\u00fcnc\u00fc 2012-2015 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dal\u0131 Ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6revlerini yerine getirdi. 2009-2011 ve 2015-2017 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda T\u00fcrk Omurga Derne\u011fi y\u00f6netim kurulu \u00fcyelik ve genel sekreterli\u011fi, 2010-2013 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda AOSpine T\u00fcrkiye Omurga Merkezi ve Fellowluk direkt\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc yapt\u0131. 2008 y\u0131l\u0131ndan beri Asya-Pasifik Ortopedi Derne\u011fi Omurga B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn T\u00fcrkiye Delegesi olarak g\u00f6rev yapmaktad\u0131r.
