Tarihe \u2018\u00dcsk\u00fcdar facias\u0131\u2019 olarak kaz\u0131nan ve net olmayan kaynaklara g\u00f6re 300\u2019den fazla ki\u015finin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011fi \u00dcsk\u00fcdar vapuru kazas\u0131n\u0131n \u00fczerinden 61 sene ge\u00e7mesine ra\u011fmen ac\u0131lar hala ilk g\u00fcnk\u00fc tazeli\u011fini koruyor. Kocaeli\u2019nin \u0130zmit ve Karam\u00fcrsel il\u00e7eleri aras\u0131nda 1 Mart 1958 tarihinde sefere \u00e7\u0131kan \u00dcsk\u00fcdar vapurunun \u0130zmit K\u00f6rfezi\u2019nde f\u0131rt\u0131naya tutularak batmas\u0131 sonucu hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 kaybeden 300\u2019den fazla ki\u015fi i\u00e7in G\u00f6lc\u00fck 1 Mart \u00dcsk\u00fcdar \u015eehitli\u011fi\u2019nde t\u00f6ren d\u00fczenlendi. Anma t\u00f6renine G\u00f6lc\u00fck Belediye Ba\u015fkan Mehmet Ellibe\u015f, G\u00f6lc\u00fck Kaymakam\u0131 Mustafa Alt\u0131nta\u015f ve faciada hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybedenlerin yak\u0131nlar\u0131 ve \u00e7ok say\u0131da \u00f6\u011frenci kat\u0131ld\u0131. T\u00f6rende konu\u015fan G\u00f6lc\u00fck Belediye Ba\u015fkan Mehmet Ellibe\u015f ve G\u00f6lc\u00fck Kaymakam\u0131 Mustafa Alt\u0131nta\u015f, ya\u015fanan faciada hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybeden vatanda\u015flar i\u00e7in duyulan \u00fcz\u00fcnt\u00fcn\u00fcn ilk g\u00fcnk\u00fc tazeli\u011fini korudu\u011funu ifade ettiler. Yap\u0131lan protokol konu\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan G\u00f6lc\u00fck M\u00fcft\u00fcs\u00fc \u0130lyas \u00d6ztel dua okudu. Okunan dua sonras\u0131 protokol \u00fcyeleri mezarlara karanfil b\u0131rakt\u0131.<\/p>\n

Eve ge\u00e7 geldi\u011fi i\u00e7in sabah benim b\u00fcfeyi a\u00e7mam\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. B\u00fcfemizi a\u00e7t\u0131m. \u00d6\u011flen saat 13.00 s\u0131ralar\u0131nda bir r\u00fczgar ba\u015flad\u0131. Neredeyse b\u00fcfenin \u00e7at\u0131s\u0131 u\u00e7acakt\u0131. Sonra duyduk ki vapur batm\u0131\u015f. \u00c7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck bir faciayd\u0131. Bu olayda 300\u2019den fazla beldelerden \u0130zmit Lisesine gitmek isteyen \u00f6\u011frenci vard\u0131. Arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu y\u00fczme biliyordu, sahile ula\u015ft\u0131. Ama sahilde hava so\u011fuk oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in donarak \u00f6ld\u00fc. Hastane koridorlar\u0131na kadar ta\u015f\u0131narak getirildiler ama donduklar\u0131 i\u00e7in kurtar\u0131lamad\u0131. \u00c7ok zaman ge\u00e7ti.
